The Heart Of The Issue
I had a few ideas for today's post but then I went to my Cardiologist appointment. After discussing my arrhythmia and the extent of it, some decisions were made... about my health and about this post.
On my mom's birthday, the last day of July, I made some decisions.
This business was one of those decisions. I launched my website 5 days after and decided it was time to live my life successfully, doing what I am good at. I was tired of being a victim of my mental and physical health. I wanted a life I am proud of.
Today I can say I am 100% proud of where I am in life, just by making small changes.
Today the reality of that day hit home full force.
I have continued to have Supraventricular Tachycardia attacks. I saw my cardiologist for the first time since being diagnosed and learning that I have another heart issue that is forming. What ended up discussed was going for an ablation and, if that fails, essentially the potential for a pacemaker to keep my heart from doing the things it should not do.
I won't go into details but I will say I am scared. I'm not even 40 years old!
Being scared that day changed my life for the better. For that, I am grateful. Nonetheless, my health journey is not over. It needs to get back on track so my entrepreneurial self can as well.
Don't wait for a health scare to change your life. Do what you need for a better you before it is too late.
Thank goodness my time is not up yet. I'm pushing ahead and I am strong enough to do it for as many years as my body will allow.
