Don't Take This Personally...
I want to make a personal note today. I had so many ideas and thoughts I wanted to touch on but realized I mostly just wanted to take a moment to speak to you instead.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed.
Everyone feels overwhelmed once in a while. I consider it my biggest flaw, though. Give me a lot of tasks without order to them and I get lost.
I learned a long time ago that lists with an order of importance are my friend. As a matter of fact, I use a list manager with categories for all areas of my life. Business, chores, self-care, etc, can be found within their own categories for different moments of the day. I tackle one category at a time.
Timers can be your best friend.
I time myself based on what needs done. Setting management goals and working within those constraints make me more effective.
Yes, I get overwhelmed easily. Too many companies consider this to be a flaw. I do not.
I get overwhelmed, so I organize my day.
I am a better time manager because of how overwhelmed I become. I am more efficient because I get overwhelmed. I am a better entrepreneur because of it too.
I simply wanted to take a personal moment to encourage you to see the strengths from within your weaknesses.
How do you turn your own weaknesses into something productive?
